Classic Beef Burger
A timeless Labor Day classic, this juicy beef burger is grilled to perfection and loaded with your favorite toppings. It's the ultimate outdoor cooking experience!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced onions
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Mayonnaise
- Pickles
Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat
In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and pepper
Mix well and form into 4 patties
Place patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly browned
Assemble burgers by placing lettuce, tomato, and onion slices on the bottom bun
Add the cooked patty with melted cheese on top of the veggies
Spread ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on the top bun and place it on the patty
Serve with pickles on the side
